Plus an interesting interview with Tony Robinson and Mr Singer, discussing happiness and how we sometimes hassle ourselves with problems, through expectations and mindset due to past experiences. Encouraging us to let go and Surrender, wise souls indeed!! Enjoy 🤗💖
Unconditional happiness: Through self-awareness, acceptance, and letting go, you can cultivate a state of unconditional happiness and love.
Few points from this video, Shakti will rise up and emanate from your heart space, creating a want to give or be of service, to help others. Allowing a life force which is very fulfilling and rewarding. Spirituality is about letting go of blockages, seeing triggers (problems) as an opportunity for growth, and to relax in the face of adversity, finding compassion for whatever is happening.
In 1975 that Michael founded the Temple of the Universe, a long-established meditation & yoga center where beings of any religion or beliefs come together to explore inner peace.
Chapter 6 “Secrets of the Spiritual Heart” did you know that the heart has the potential to create vibrations and harmonies? The science and wisdom of the heart really resonates.
Exploring Insights and Experiencing Energy
The Heart as an Energy Gateway
Singer describes the spiritual heart as a center through which we feel the profound life energy in all that is. When the heart is open we fall in love with life, nature and the divine in all its forms. 🥰 Awareness of what keeps us open and what closes us is important to living in love, gratitude and kindness.
In physics and biofield science, the heart’s electromagnetic field is the most powerful of any organ — extending up to 3m or more, beyond the body (research from HeartMath Institute).
- Healthy heart coherence is measured at about 0.1 Hz (a slow wave rhythm linking breathing and heart rate).
- Love, gratitude, and compassion naturally raise heart coherence, producing a smooth sine-wave pattern in HRV (heart rate variability).
Blockages as Vibrational Distortions
In Singer’s language, Samskaras are “clumps” of past emotional energy that lodge in the heart.
From a vibrational perspective:
- They act like an out of tune string on a harp (heart), distorting the natural resonance of the song, which with unconditional love / acceptance and a shift / tuning / practice can become a love song… with others creating a symphony orchestra.
- Letting go is like tuning an instrument — restoring the pure frequency of love (528 Hz in Solfeggio tuning).
Flow and Resonance
When you allow experiences to pass through, accepting what is, your heart’s energy field resonates like a clear open channel. Allowing emotional intelligence and a deeper experience. If you’re mind dominates with negative thoughts of past or future, this creates frustration, anger, fear, insecurity, depression and anxiety potentially. Important to work on your neuroplasticity with positive mindset, as each moment is creating your reality.
- Resonant frequencies for emotional regulation.
- 432 Hz – deep relaxation, heart-centered awareness
- 528 Hz – love, DNA repair, harmony
- 639 Hz – connection, compassion, interpersonal healing
- Acquiring tuning folks with all the Solfeggio frequencies is highly recommended 👌
- Plus weighted 128hz and 136.1hz so powerful to reset your nervous system to calm, peaceful and nourishing vibrations. Everyone could benefit from this, helping regulate your nervous system by tapping and placing on your breastbone.
- Feeling stuck? Try Sound, breath, and mindful movement, dance and shaking can “shake loose” stored patterns.
- Try Vibroacoustic Waterbed
Heart-Opening Practices
| Practice | Description | Frequency / Vibration Element |
|---|---|---|
| Heart Coherence Breathing (with hand on smiling heart) |
Inhale 5 sec, exhale 5 sec, focusing on self love, vocalise ahhhhh & sighs repeatedly. | 6 breaths per minute. Resonates near 0.1 Hz HRV (HeartMath coherence). |
| Sound Bath with Crystal bowls, gongs, Solfeggio tuning folks or music tracks |
Play / receive sound healing instruments or tracks while resting in stillness, imagining the heart glowing. | Pure heart-love resonance. 528Hz, 432Hz, 285Hz, 396Hz, 639Hz, 174Hz, |
| Vibroacoustic Therapy Session | Lie on a vibroacoustic waterbed or mat, playing VAT programs, layered with nature sounds. | Harmonizes emotional field. Using 20Hz to 120Hz on bed, full range headphones with binaural beats & Solfeggio. |
| Samskara Release Visualization | While breathing out slowly, imagine this memory as a gift to grow; a lesson, karma and release with each exhalation, letting it go.. | Enhances energy flow; can be done with soft drumming (4–7 Hz brainwave entrainment). |
| Gratitude Journaling | Write down 3 moments everyday that touch your heart. Read them aloud with Theata brainwave entrainment. | Shifts vibrational state. Focus on positive experiences. Why am I so healthy or happy? |
| Heart Qigong Movement | Slow circular arm movements in front of the chest, breathing deeply, visualizing warm golden light expanding from the heart. | Boosts chi flow through heart meridian. |

A short summary of some key points
The Untethered Soul” by Michael Singer emphasizes that you are not your thoughts or emotions, but the awareness that experiences them, without judgment, accept what is happening, and detach from the ego’s desire to control external circumstances. This leads to inner peace, freedom, and a more joyful life.
The power of the present moment: The book emphasizes the importance of living in the present moment, rather than dwelling on the past or worrying about the future.
1) You are not your thoughts, shifting from ego to Awakening your Consciousness 🦅💖🌅🔥 Inner Room mate (thoughts) vs action & then Divine awareness
Michael Singer’s root insight is simple: there’s a constant inner narrator commenting on everything (Michael calls it, your Inner room mate). You are the one who notices that voice, not the voice itself. If your awareness is activated by action eg. Focused attention, on breath, your hearts energy, smiling, surfing waves, nature, artistic endeavours, running, exercise, climbing, gardening, knitting, music or dancing ect.💃 we can create joy, contentment and even excitement in each moment with positive plasticity affecting our neuroplasticity. The brain is becoming more peaceful every time we focus on eg, breath, meditation, heart awareness, music, art, surfing/ nature, being ethical with good morals. Once we achieve peace of mind, focused awareness we can then directly engage in experiencing oneness, spirit, the divine connection within all that is! Chapter 19 The loving eyes of God
In yogic terms, you are Purusha (pure awareness) versus Prakriti (the play of sensations, thoughts, and emotions). And then Samadhi / Enlightenment / Nirvana / Moksha
Daily practice
“Every day I wake up and feel my heart, giving care n self love, shifting from thoughts to body awareness… Sending Smiles to loved ones hearts! Noticeable my heart becomes warmer and feels full after a while of touching my heart with tenderness. Next I work out, building core strength 💪 and feel super solid after doing these two practices every morning 🌄 ” (Great Awakening author)
Practice (60 seconds):
Pause. Place your Hand with loving-kindness on your heart. Smile! 🤗 Breathe in through the nose for 4, out for 7. Whisper inwardly, “I am the witness.” Notice the next thought arrive. Notice it pass. Do nothing. Let go, allowing flow, like a river.
Brainwave map:
- Early moments of witnessing often nudge you from fast beta (busy mind) toward alpha (calm focus).
- If you stay, you may drift into theta (intuitive imagery, insight).
Elemental feel:
- Air — space between thoughts, breeze on the oceans shore. Your job is to keep the mind in a state of flow, like clouds moving into a blue sky.
2) Relax and release: The alchemy of letting go, Transcending the tendency to close… Focus on what moves you to open 😚
Singer repeatedly suggests: relax around discomfort. When an old charge rises, the usual impulse is to contract. The liberating way to more liveliness is the opposite: soften, open, and let it be.. 🐝 especially when fear, insecurities and destructive behaviour patterns are felt..
How?
Practice
90 seconds is time emotions take to process (apparently), then we loop on an idea or feeling. So if we can allow and accept feelings for a minute and a half then choosing to focus on grounding, shaking, singing, ahhhhh / sighing, self care, social interaction, dancing, music ect. We can help alleviate stress and our struggles.
When a trigger hits, hold the body still. Shoulders down. Jaw soft. Breathe low into the belly. On the out-breath, feel the chest soften, Say inwardly: “Energy, you’re free to move.” Imagine a blissful current through the spine — up on the inhale, down on the exhale.
Yogic tie-in:
This is vairāgya (non-grasping) and ishvara pranidhana (surrender). You stop being your history’s security guard and let your emotional intelligence move the debris/ blockages with a sigh, ahhhhh or release which feels aligned.
Brainwave map:
- The “soften” signal ramps parasympathetic tone; HRV rises; alpha stabilizes; brief gamma pops may appear (integration moments).
- Consistent practice deepens a trait shift: you return to baseline calm faster.
Elemental feel:
- Water — let it flow in the path of least resistance. Awareness to rocks and dams and going around obstacles with gratitude, grace and courage.
3) The thorn and the open heart: choosing freedom over defense, Freeing Yourself
Singer’s “thorn” metaphor says: rather than building an armored life to protect a wound, remove the thorn. In practice: when the ache appears, don’t negotiate with it. Breathe and accept, open wider than the ache.See others behaviour as their reality, have compassion and empathy. (Also walk away if they can’t hear your request. NVC practices help, note from blog author)
Practice (90 seconds): Heart door
Place your hand on your stomach. Inhale as if the breath enters the back of the heart, exhale through the front. On each exhale, silently say: “May I be open.” Let the shoulders roll back a few millimeters to signal safety.
Yogic tie-in:
This is anahata (heart center) awakening: meeting sensation with maitri (friendliness). The door opens, again and again.
Brainwave map:
- Heart-focused breathing raises coherence; mind settles into alpha/theta blend.
- Occasional gamma spikes accompany heartfelt clarity.
Elemental feel:
- Fire — warmth in the chest; like the phoenix out of the ashes, rise up, transcending any trauma.
4) The seat of Self: living from center
Singer invites us to sit in the seat of awareness in heart felt consciousness — aware of emotional shut down, processing of pain, shame or guilt. From here, thoughts and feelings arise like weather; detached you remain in light, like the sun shining bright 🌞 ✨
“Imagine right now you’re embodying this truth — now let’s try it…”
Practice (3 minutes): The backward step
With eyes soft, sense a point 2–3 cm behind the breastbone. Imagine your attention leaning back into that point. Keep breathing without forcing. Let sounds, thoughts, and sensations pass in front of you. Allowing the heart to soften, smile inwardly and lean into love…
Yogic tie-in:
This is pratyāhāra (senses return to source) leading toward dhyāna (meditative absorption).
Brainwave map:
- The “lean back” often moves you from beta toward alpha/theta; with stability, brief gamma moments (insight) may appear.
Elemental feel:
- Space/ether — vastness, a clear night sky. Everything has room. Exploring an expansive awareness.
5) Energy flows when you don’t block it
Singer points to the inner energy that rises when you stop resisting. Yogic philosophy calls this prana. When you relax around life, prana flows and magic happens ✨
My mother said “what you resist persists” because your focused on it, where attention goes, energy flows. Mindfulness around what you focus on is key!
Practice (5 minutes): Spinal river
Sit upright. Inhale and imagine energy ascending from tailbone to crown. Exhale, feel it cascade from crown to heart to belly to base. Keep the jaw soft. If emotion rises, breathe through it, not at it. Makes sounds to release any held energy or emotions.
Brainwave map:
- Smooth breath and upright posture cultivate alpha stability; visualized flow often invites theta imagery; integrated moments = gamma.
Elemental feel:
- Water + Fire — 🌊🔥 (The two main elements in Tantric rituals) a warm current. Flowing warmth fosters courage.
6) The art of non-grasping joy
Freedom is achieved by not clinging to pleasure. Singer reminds us: enjoy, but let it pass. This preserves inner stillness and keeps us open to what is. Finding contentment in each moment without judgments.
Practice (1 minute, many times daily):
When something feels wonderful, smile, breathe, and silently say: “Thank you. You’re free.” Notice the subtle grasping impulse and relax your hands, belly, and tongue.
Brainwave map:
- Gratitude nudges alpha and heart coherence; less grasping = fewer beta spikes after the peak.
Elemental feel:
- Air — celebrate the breeze, don’t try to hold onto it.. Let it be free to flow.
7) Understanding Brainwaves for the modern mystic
- Beta (13–30 Hz): problem-solving, also rumination. Useful, but not your ultimate home base.
- Alpha (8–12 Hz): calm focus; doorway of the witness. More effective, efficient and relaxed.
- Theta (4–7 Hz): imagery, memory, intuition; fertile for inner work. Access sub conscious beliefs / patterns, around 95% of our behaviour comes from these belief systems. Used in hypnotherapy.
- Delta (0.5–3 Hz): deep sleep/repair; brief dips in meditation restore the system. Accessing this in an awake state is super powerful way to manifest.
- Gamma (30–100 Hz): binding/insight; spikes during compassion and “aha.” Accessed playing Didgeridoo, deep meditative states and with psychedelics. Your ego dissolves.
- Hyper Gamma Brainwaves Frequency Range: ~100–200 Hz (sometimes cited slightly higher, depending on research methods) is a State of Mind: Linked to expanded awareness, peak spiritual experiences, and deep intuitive insight. Hyper-gamma is like gamma on overdrive — extremely fast oscillations that seem to bind different brain regions into instantaneous integration.
- Epsilon/Lambda (very slow/very fast): reported in deep yogic practitioners; the felt sense is spacious stillness with bright clarity. The qualities of both have the same characteristics.
- Epsilon Brainwave Frequency Range: Below ~0.5 Hz — often reported around 0.1 Hz to 0.5 Hz (some sources note activity as low as 0.01 Hz).
- This is slower than Delta, meaning each wave cycle can take several seconds.
- Characteristics: Found in advanced meditators and yogis (often in states of Samadhi).
- Associated with extreme inner stillness, almost “timeless” awareness. Often coexists with hyper gamma bursts — suggesting the mind is paradoxically deeply still yet hyper-clear.
- Practitioners report a merging into infinite space or pure being without body/time awareness.
- Physiological notes: Strong parasympathetic activation. Heart rate and breath can slow dramatically — sometimes just a few breaths per minute. Feels like being in a vast, silent ocean of consciousness.
- Lambda Brainwaves • Frequency Range: • Above ~100 Hz — often cited around 100–200 Hz, in the hyper gamma range, with some advanced EEG reports showing activity up to 200+ Hz in certain Tibetan monks.
- Characteristics: Extremely fast and high-energy brain activity. Linked to moments of profound insight, unity consciousness, or ecstatic transcendence. Often present simultaneously with Epsilon in advanced practitioners — like the brain is resonating at both ends of the spectrum at once.
- Some describe it as a diamond clarity or “blinding light” awareness. Physiological notes: Despite being very fast, it’s not stressful — instead, it can feel expansive, blissful, and hyper-connected.
- Common in deep compassion states, mystical visions, or out-of-body perception.
- Epsilon ↔ Lambda Relationship: In deep meditative states, Epsilon (ultra-slow) and Lambda (ultra-fast) can appear together — a phenomenon sometimes called “harmonic coupling.” This may indicate a fully integrated brain state: Epsilon = timeless, spacious awareness. Lambda = hyper-lucid, infinite clarity. Practitioners often describe this as oneness with everything while being fully aware of everything in detail.
Practical map:
- Start sessions inviting alpha (breath + posture), then allow theta (gentle imagery), witness insights (gamma) no ego awareness. Non-Dual Awareness, timelessness, deep compassion, Samadhi Epsilon / Lambda
8) Elemental integration practices
Earth — stability & trust
- Posture: sit or stand with feet like roots into the earth, keeping your jaw soft.
- Mantra: “I am steady and grounded. ”
- Action: name three real things you can touch.
- Outcome: nervous system downshifts; alpha rises.
Water — emotion & flow
- Breath: 4–6 count inhale, 6–8 count exhale.
- Visual: a clear river purifying the heart.
- Action: sway gently with the breath.
- Outcome: feelings move freely
Fire — courage & clarity
- Focus: warm the chest with your hands heat. ✋ 🔥💖
- Mantra: “I can face this.”
- Action: micro-commitment: one honest email, one boundary, one step at a time.
- Outcome: decisive energy without rage / anger.
Air — perspective & lightness
- Focus: widen peripheral vision; soften forehead.
- Mantra: “This too moves.”
- Action: Imagining your eyes smiling, then every cell coming back the heart smiling 😻
- Outcome: reactivity loosens; alpha smooths beta edges.
Space — openness & surrender
- Focus: sense the room around you as part of you.
- Mantra: “Let it all be.”
- Action: 60 seconds of doing absolutely nothing.
- Outcome: tastes of stillness; seat of Self becomes obvious.
9) Micro-rituals for real life
- Doorway reset: Every time you pass through a door, exhale long and choose openness.
- Phone rings: Smile and place one hand on heart before responding.
- Witness tag: Catch the inner voice mid-sentence and label it: “Narrator.” Smile.
- Compassion blink: See someone tense? Inhale for them, exhale with them.
- Gratitude: Name one good thing per hour. It sweeps the psyche.
10) Working with tough weather
- If anxiety spikes: heavy exhale through pursed lips, lengthen the out-breath, soften the belly. Make humming sounds, gently touching lips 💋
- If anger flashes: stand, shake arms and legs for 20 seconds, go for a run then sit and scream into hands briefly if necessary, hug yourself.
- If numb: cold splash on the face, a minute of brisk walking / dance to favourite songs, then sit. Earthing regularly with heart meditation.
11) A simple daily practices
- Earthing (20 mins): feel your feet connected to the earth; slowly exhale. Imagine your feet are like tree roots going deep into the earth…
- Heart Coherence (5 mins regularly): in through nose 4, out 6; hand on heart, relaxing and big cheeky Smile!
- Seat of Self (5 min): Focus awareness in the heart 💖
- Spinal flow (3–5 min): up on inhale, down on exhale; keep the body soft.
- Gratitude release (30 sec): “Thank you. You’re free.”
12) Five embodied questions to ask yourself and others…
- Who am I? (Ultimately Conscious Awareness)
- “Can I stay open while this moves?”
- “What would love do?”
- “If I don’t attach to the thought, what remains?”
- “Where is the softest place in my body right now?”
- “What can I relax in this moment?”
The fruits: what changes
- Less reactivity, quicker recovery: you still feel, but you don’t drown.
- A warmer baseline: heart stays gently open; relationships soften.
- Natural joy: not a high, a hum — like a well-tuned instrument.
- Clarity in action: decisions align with values without overthinking.
- Energy that serves: creativity returns; embrace your life force.
Closing intentions (read slowly)
Breathe low. Feel the soles of your feet. Sense the heart like a small sun. Let the inner river rise and fall along the spine. Thoughts may knock; let them pass across the sky. Whisper inwardly:
I am the witness.
I choose openness over armor.
I let energy move as it needs.
I meet my life with love and clarity.
I am steady earth, flowing water, warm fire, free air, spacious sky.
And I walk my day untethered.
Namaste 🙏 🔥🐉🦁💕
